The New York State Council of Painting and Decorating Contractors of America (PDCA)
consists of more than 100 members comprising 10 local chapters located all across the
State. Founded in 1884, PDCA is a painting contractors association and a decorating
contractors association providing services and benefits to members to help them run their
businesses more successfully.

Seminars, conventions, videos and publications educate our members. PDCA actively
pursues opportunities to present the coatings application industry position to federal, state
and local legislative and regulatory policy makers. Networking allows members to
exchange information with their peers.

Personal involvement is provided at the Chapter level. PDCA Chapters provide members
with the opportunity to meet locally and solve common problems and discuss business
concerns. Chapter meetings consist of social events and business programs with
speakers from the coatings applications industry and local government and business.
